At the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company (W&LE), we understand the importance of keeping railcars in service and doing so by making quality repairs that meet AAR standards. Safety is our top priority at W&LE, making sure that our locomotive and railcar repair services are performed by experienced and knowledgeable technicians.

The locomotive and car repair shops of the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company (W&LE) are housed in single a 140,000+ square foot building which contains a 90-ton drop table, 35-ton crane, wheel truing machine, load test facility, six locomotive bays and capacity for up to 20 cars.
